Arun Rose 10 Pocket Dyneema Cycling Jeans
Slim fit silhouette. We recommend sizing up for optimal comfort and mobility, particularly when riding.
Featuring dual invisible zip mesh vent side pockets on each leg, two large rear zipped pockets designed to securely hold wallets or bulkier items, and two rear D-lock slot pockets. Additional coin/lighter pockets provide quick-access utility. Articulated knee darts enhance range of motion, eliminating rigidity when riding in a bent-knee position. Finished with PRYM snap fasteners at the hem for adjustable cinching.
Originally developed as a 1-of-6 experimental garment for Arun Rose’s Final Major Project at Goldsmiths University (BA Design, 2020), the jeans were conceived around the contrasting functional needs of blue- and white-collar workers. The project also included a 3-Layer RFID seam-taped modular Paclite suit designed for the future-proof white-collar worker. In parallel, this Dyneema denim system was developed specifically for blue-collar use.
The original concept extended beyond the trouser itself, featuring an attachable 3-layer poncho shell for wet-weather cycling and motorbike commuting, alongside a range of modular attachments (MODs) intended for workshop and worksite applications.
Since graduating, the trouser has been redeveloped for commercial cycling and workshop use. Changes in denim manufacturing availability, alongside the acquisition of Dyneema by Avient Corporation, resulted in a prolonged process to relocate the original fabric specification- accounting for the gap between the project’s completion in 2020 and its eventual release in FW2025.
Produced in extremely limited quantities, with only 10–15 pairs available.
