Levi’s and Massimo Osti’s relationship spawned in 1998 with their umbrella brand Dockers. The line “Equipment for legs” created a furthering function to the renowned chino pants brand, opening their eyes to revamping staple items. Following that recipe Osti and Levi’s began to craft ICD ( Industrial clothing division) a modern yet durable take on workwear heritage, The line was released during AW2000 with a 30+ piece range, price tag of $800-$1000+. Within the range ICD+ sat, a fusion with electronic company Phillips. The ICD+ items featured integrated electronics, a millennial ingenious but quickly heckled as a gimmick, resulting in the discontinuation of the line.
